We said goodbye to Duster today. She hadn't been eating very well all week, she just went to sleep in my arms. We think she had some heart issues like all of her sisters, and with her weight and size she didnt last very long with the medicine we gave her.
Duster was a very small black roan, we got her with six of her sisters. At first she was one of the smallest of the group. This is a picture of when we first got them.
A picture of cute little Duster on her own.
Duster was always a quiet girl, she never really wanted any attention. She was better left doing her own thing, and that was the way she liked it.
Duster was always the last rat out of the cage. All the other girls were already on the floor most of the time.
Duster was a big girl, which we loved. Whenever we got hold of her, she would always want to run off.
Duster always enjoyed her food. Whenever there was new food in the cage, she would be one of the first rats there eating it

Whenever Duster wanted to come out, she would wait until no-one was near the cage, so we couldnt catch her and then she would run so fast out of the cage and under my desk, where she would hide for most of the time when the rats were out. She loved it under there as no one would bother her.
Have fun at Rainbow Bridge Duster. You were a lovely girl who went way to soon. I miss seeing you come out for your food every time we put food in the cage. We all love you and miss you, the biggest girl in the cage has gone. We put some yoggies with you for your journey.
Sweet dreams Duster Bear xXxXx
