Crackle 05/10/2013 - 12/01/2015
Crackle went to rainbow bridge earlier today, she was one year two months. She had been on heart medicine for a couple of months and today was the day her little heart gave up. Crackle and two of her sisters have had a bad heart.
We first called her Crackle because when we first got her, she had always been crackley. So Crackle was the perfect name.
Crackle with her sisters when we first got them
When we were in the room with the rats, Crackle, would come out of the hammock where all of the other rats would be and wait for food. The food bowls would either be full or the food would of been stashed in the "rat house" Crackle would always come to the bottom of one of the cages and wait. She would sit there until you gave her some of her favourite food, triangles. Crackle also knew when it was medicine time, she would wait patiently at the bottom of the top cage while we did her medicine.

Crackle was always a little girl, just like her sister Whippy. Crackle wanting some seeds

When Crackle came out with all of the other rats, she would sit under my desk, I think it was her safe place. Crackle under my desk when all the other rats are out playing.
She always loved being in the cage with the rest of the girls, either in the hammock or just playing around.
Have fun at rainbow bridge little Crackle. You are missed by us all here :( Have fun meeting up with your sisters who are already there, and the rest of our other ratties. You will be healthy now with no more crackley chest or bad heart. We put some yoggies in just for you.
